Savor at Studio 3807 offers a diverse lineup of restaurant concepts under one roof in Brentwood.
In Prince George’s County’s Gateway Arts District, Studio 3807 is embracing the vibrant local arts community.
Walking into the leasing center on Saturday December 9th, you could immediately sense the excitement of the agents, artists, and community in the shared space. There was optimism and spirit from both developers and visual artists involved in the Studio 3807 project. The upscale apartment community will consist of 147 apartment homes and 6,322 square feet of retail space. In addition 3,000 square feet are set aside for 5 artist studio spaces and a gallery which will be called Portico. The projected opening date is June 2018.
Developed by public private partnership that includes Landex Development and Prince George’s County, Artist Row, located at 3807 and 4100 Rhode Island Avenue in the Gateway Arts District, is the intersection of modern urban living and the arts. The LEED gold designed community is being constructed in two phases. The first phase, Studio 3807, is currently under construction and scheduled to open early summer 2018. Studio 3807 includes 147 apartments, 6322 square feet of retail space and 3000 square feet of artist studio space. The second phase, Artisan at 4100, will open in late 2018 and will consist of 84 apartments and 5000 square feet of retail.
Art Lives Here and Maryland Art Place IMPACT artist Becky Borlan lights new public art work
Brentwood, MD – Funded by Maryland Art Place IMPACT grant, Art Lives Here through Joe’s Movement Emporium, and Neighborhood Design Center in partnership with Landex Development Corporation, Becky Borlan will officially light and unveil public art piece, PRISMS at the site of the new Studio 3807 June 3rd at 7 pm. The unveiling ceremony will take place from 6 – 8 pm with light food served at neighboring Brentwood Arts Exchange in the Gateway Arts Center. Gateway Community Development Corporation’s 39th Street Gallery will also be open to the public. This free event takes place at 3901 Rhode Island Ave in Brentwood, MD and will include food, drink and a presentation of the piece at 7 pm. This event is made possible by Maryland-National Park and Planning Commission, Joe’s Movement Emporium, Maryland Art Place, and Neighborhood Design Center.

Bladensburg-based Landex Cos. has been selected by Prince George’s County to develop Studio 3807, a mixed-use building at the Gateway Arts District. The $36 million project, funded in part by the county and state, will include 147 market-rate apartments, 6,000 square feet of artist work space and 6,000 square feet of retail space. It is the latest addition to the arts district, a neighborhood along Route 1 near the Prince George’s border with D.C.
